OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G, Nord 2T Get January 2024 OxygenOS Update

OnePlus has released an OxygenOS 14.0.0.300 update for the OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G and OnePlus Nord 2T with a similar changelog. The update brings the January 2024 security patch and a couple of improvements. And it removes one beloved feature.

The latest OxygenOS update for OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G and OnePlus Nord 2T integrates the January security patch to fix vulnerabilities found in the previous software version. It improves the battery life, system stability, performance, and the stability of wireless connections on both devices.

After upgrading to OxygenOS 14.0.0.300, you won’t find the Background stream feature, which allows users to watch YouTube videos in the background without paying for YouTube Premium. Sadly, this feature is going away. But there are alternatives you can find in this article. OnePlus fixes the app crashing issues on both devices.

The OxygenOS 14.0.0.300 update for the OnePlus Nord 2T and Nord CE 3 5G is currently rolling out in India. However, it should spread to more markets in the coming days and weeks.

If you have OnePlus Nord 2T or Nord CE 3 5G, navigate to Settings > About > Software Update > Check for Update to get the latest OxygenOS update. As always, the update is rolling out in batches, so it can take a few days to reach your device.
