Samsung is wrapping up its One UI 6 rollout, as the company is gearing up to bring the next version of its custom skin – One UI 6.1. Last week, the Galaxy A13 4G started picking up the One UI 6.0 update, but it was restricted to South Korea. Now, the update is heading to Asian countries, starting with India.
The Galaxy A13 4G owners in India are getting the One UI 6 update with the firmware version A135FXXU5DXA4. It has a download size of just under 1.7GB. To download such heavy software packages, a Wi-Fi connection is preferred. However, the mobile data can also do the job, but ensure that it has enough network bandwidth before hitting the download button.
The Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update brings a redesigned Quick Settings panel, new lock screen customization settings, new widgets, and an updated media player. You’ll also get a new font, new accessibility features, and an improved notification panel. Besides these changes, the update includes the November 2023 security patch to fix dozens of vulnerabilities found in the previous software version.
Sadly, Android 14 is the second and final major OS update for the Galaxy A13 4G. However, it will receive the One UI 6.1 upgrade in the coming months.
If you have a Galaxy A13 4G and are still waiting for an update notification, check manually for updates. To do that, go to Settings > Software update and tap Download and install.
