One UI 6.1 is loaded with Galaxy AI features, but those have been only reserved for select premium Galaxy smartphones, including the S23 series, Fold 5, Flip 5, and Note 20 series.

Galaxy A54 5G isn’t eligible for Galaxy AI. But still, there’s a lot to explore in One UI 6.1. Here’s what One UI 6.1 brings:

Galaxy A54 5G One UI 6.1 Update Progress

[May 16, 2024]: The One UI 6.1 update is now available to Galaxy A54 5G users in Latin America. It requires you to download a bulky update package of around 2.1GB. Hence, ensure a stable connection before hitting the download button.

[May 15, 2024]: Samsung is now rolling out the One UI 6.1 update to Galaxy A54 5G users in India. It has a download size of around 2.1GB. Prefer downloading such heavy update packages over a stable connection.

[May 14, 2024]: The One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy A54 5G just went live in Korea, and now it’s expanding to more regions. It’s now rolling out in Europe and the US with the following firmware versions:

• Europe: A546BXXU7CXDC 
• United States: A546VSQU6CXDE 

[May 13, 2024]: Samsung is finally rolling out the One UI 6.1 update to Galaxy A54 5G. As of now, the update is available in Korea with the firmware version A546SKSU4CXDC. It will expand to other parts of the world in the coming days and weeks.

Unfortunately, the update does not include any Galaxy AI features. We’ve already listed above all the changes coming with this new update.

[May 11, 2024]: We now have some details on the One UI 6.1 rollout for the Galaxy A54 5G. The information comes from a tipster @theonecid claiming that Samsung will release the One UI 6.1 update to the Galaxy A54 5G on May 14 in Canada.

[March 16, 2024]: Carrier-locked Galaxy A54 5G is getting the March 2024 security update in the United States. The update is rolling out for Comcast and Xfinity Mobile networks. However, it should only be a matter of a few days before the update reaches the remaining carriers.

[February 28, 2024]: The Galaxy A54 5G users in India grab the February 2024 security patch update. It’s rolling out in the country with the firmware version A546EXXS6BXAE and has a download size of around 241MB.

[February 21, 2024]: Samsung has announced that One UI 6.1 will start rolling out in late March 2024. Sadly, this rollout timeline is for devices that are eligible for Galaxy AI, which includes the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series.

Samsung didn’t announce when the next One UI upgrade will be available for older devices that won’t get Galaxy AI, such as Galaxy A54 5G.

[February 19, 2024]: The February 2024 security update for Galaxy A54 5G reaches the US. Currently, it’s rolling out on the Verizon network with the firmware version A546VSQS6BXA8.

[February 15, 2024]: Samsung is rolling out the February 2024 security update to Galaxy A54 5G users in Europe. It’s rolling out in the region with the firmware version A546BXXS6BXA8.

[February 8, 2024]: The first February build of One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy A54 5G has been spotted on the test server. The new build can be identified by the PDA version A546BXXU6CXB1.

Multiple One UI 6.1 test builds hints that users won’t have to wait too long once the brand starts pushing One UI 6.1 updates.

[January 18, 2024]: Samsung has confirmed an initial list of devices that’ll get Galaxy AI features, and unfortunately, it doesn’t include the Galaxy A54 5G.

It doesn’t mean the device won’t get One UI 6.1 update. It will get the update but will miss out on Galaxy AI features.

Samsung has confirmed that One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI will roll out to the S23 series, S23 FE, Flip 5, Fold 5, and Tab S9 series in H1 2024, which means before June 2024. So it’s safe to assume that One UI 6.1 isn’t coming to Galaxy A54 5G before June.

[January 11, 2024]: Good news for Galaxy A54 users! Samsung begins testing One UI 6.1 on the device. The One UI 6.1 build for the device has been spotted on the test server with build version A546BXXU6CXA3 / A546BOXM6CXA3 / A546BXXU6CXA3.
