Samsung Galaxy F04 Gets Android 14 (One UI 6.0) Update

Samsung has just released the One UI 6.0 update to many budget Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy F13, Galaxy M04, Galaxy A04, and Galaxy A04e, and now another budget phone has joined the party. It’s the Samsung Galaxy F04 getting upgraded to Android 14 (One UI 6) with the latest update.

Samsung has pushed the One UI 6.0 update to Galaxy F04 with the firmware version E045FXXU6DXA2. As it’s a major OS update, it must be around 2GB in download size. The update is rolling out in batches and should have a broader rollout in the coming days.

The One UI 6.0 update for Galaxy smartphones brings a host of new features and improvements. You get a brand-new Quick Panel layout, more lock screen widgets, a new default font, and an improved media player with waveform animations. The Gallery app has been improved to offer more photo editing suggestions, and the photo editor has more options.

Samsung released the Galaxy F04 last year with Android 12 out of the box. In the same year, it got upgraded to Android 13, and now the second major OS update has arrived in the form of Android 14.

If you have a Galaxy F04 and are still waiting for an update notification, I’d recommend checking it out manually. To do that, go to Settings > Software update and hit the Download and install option. Before installing the update, ensure that your device has at least 50% battery to avoid update failure.
