Samsung’s One UI 8.5 global rollout kicked off today, and the company has also confirmed which additional Galaxy devices are getting the update. Twenty more phones and tablets have been officially added to the One UI 8.5 eligibility list, covering everything from older flagships to mid-range Galaxy A series models.
The confirmation came from Samsung Germany ahead of the global rollout. The initial wave of devices was already known to include the Galaxy S25 series (including the S25 FE and S25 Edge), Galaxy S24 series (including the S24 FE), Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Tab S11 series, and Galaxy Tab S10 series. The latest announcement fills in the rest of the picture.
Here’s a list of the newly confirmed Galaxy devices:

- Galaxy S23
- Galaxy S23+
- Galaxy S23 Ultra
Galaxy Z series
- Galaxy Z Fold 5
- Galaxy Z Flip 5
Galaxy Tab series

- Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra

- Galaxy A34
- Galaxy A35
- Galaxy A36
- Galaxy A54
- Galaxy A55
- Galaxy A56
Samsung hasn’t shared a specific rollout schedule for these devices. That’s not unusual. The update will likely start reaching them once the initial wave of high-end devices is wrapped up. It’s worth recalling that Samsung had been preparing to expand its One UI 8.5 rollout beyond the S25 series for a while now, so this confirmation isn’t entirely surprising.
The rollout itself started on May 6, initially restricted to Korea. Today, May 11, the global expansion began across Europe, Hong Kong, India, Latin America, North America, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan.
Since it’s rolling out in batches, it may take a few days before every eligible device in every region picks it up. If you’re impatient, you can always check manually by going to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install.
