Motorola Android 14 Features

Motorola phones could get these Android 14 features:

Accessibility improvements: Each Android OS upgrade brings some accessibility improvements, and so will the Android 14. Font scaling in Android 13 is limited to 130%, which goes up to 200% in Android 14.

To maintain readability, the OS will also use non-linear font scaling. Simply put, it will not scale up fonts that are already large, such as headings.

Removing language barrier: Android 14 allows developers to take advantage of the per-app language control feature. Using it, developers can customize a language list for an app per region.

Notification flash: Sound exciting! Even some keypad phones have an LED flashing feature for calling, but Android didn’t integrate it natively. Even now, it’s not confirmed, but rumors are that Android 14 will support notification flash.

Restricting photos and video access to apps: On Android 13 and previous versions, even if an app requires access to a single photo, you’ll need to grant it full access to photos and videos. This is a privacy concern, and thankfully Android 14 fixes it.

In Android 14, you will be able to select specific photos and videos to be accessed by an app. You can be pretty confident that the app is not spying on your important photos and videos.

App Cloning: Among the rumored Android 14 features is the App Cloning. As the name suggests, it will let users create two instances of an application. It’s a pretty helpful feature for those who want to separate their work profile and personal profile. In fact, phones from several brands, including Xiaomi, Realme, and Oppo, already have this feature, but Google didn’t integrate it natively. Hopefully, we will see it on all Android 14 phones.

Health Connect: The Health Connect app may come preinstalled on all Android 14 phones. It can store and connect the data from different health and fitness apps. You can read more about it here.
