What’s New in ColorOS 12?

ColorOS 12 is the company’s latest custom skin, based on Android 12. It adds tons of new features and improvements to the device. ColorOS 12 skin packs softer icons and animations. With Android 12’s Material You feature, your device’s theme color will change based on the dominant color in the wallpaper. Oppo has added an App cloner, a three-finger translate feature for Google Lens, and a Phone Manager.

The ColorOS 12 brings improvements to the security and privacy department too. It includes a Privacy Dashboard and a small camera/location/microphone icon in the status bar when any of these are in use. Oppo claims that the new OS has an average of 30% lower memory consumption and 20% lower power consumption.
