Motorola Edge 50 Neo, Moto G Power 5G (2024) get Android 15 update

Motorola recently started rolling out the stable Android 15 update to some Edge 50 models, including the Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Ultra, and Edge 50 Fusion. Now, another Edge 50 model has joined the party, and that is Edge 50 Neo. The Moto G Power 5G (2024) is also getting the Android 15 treat.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo Android 15 update

The Android 15 update for the Edge 50 Neo is currently rolling out in India. It’s tagged with the firmware version V1UI35H.11-39-5. As it’s a major upgrade, users will need to spend a sizable chunk of data before they can enjoy the Android 15 goodies. It weighs 1.63GB, to be precise.

The changelog doesn’t reveal much details except for smoother graphics, faster app performance, screen recording notifications, and easy switching between languages. However, it also brings Circle to Search, partial screen recording, new emoji stickers, and theft protection. It also brings Gen-AI to create customized emojis with a wide range of expressions.

Moto G Power 5G (2024) Android 15 update

Alongside the Edge 50 Neo, Motorola is bringing the Android 15 to the Moto G Power 5G (2024) as well. The update is rolling out to users with the firmware version V1UD35H.26-14

This Android 15 update package weighs a little more than that for Edge 50 Neo. The Moto G Power 5G (2024) users must download a 2.64GB update to experience the latest features and enhancements.

Since it’s a considerably bulky update package, we recommend downloading it over a stable Wi-Fi connection. And before you hit the install button, ensure that the battery is charged at least 40%, so that it doesn’t turn off during update installation.

If you have any of these two Motorola phones and still haven’t received the Android 15 update, head over to the Settings app, choose Software updates, and tap on Check for updates.
